Desperately Seeking Bookworm

Is this my last month? Just wait and see for that update. I'm not going to lie I was highly disappointed in this month. July kept me around (along with samples choice for August), but this month was a disaster. I think my add-on for the month really made up for the box's lackluster performance. Out of my 3 beauty boxes Birchbox came in dead last for the month, let's find out why shall we? Manna Kadar Cosmetics The Day Dream Palette (Full-size $25):  When spoilers came out I already knew I would hate this. "Palettes" from BB usually means 1 shadow that may or may not be in said palette or a piece of cardboard that mimics the palette with pigment on them. This particular sample came as a full-size eyeshadow that was completely smashed. I'm currently waiting for a replacement. I don't have hopes that will get here intake either. Oh hey, its February the month of loooove and also time for another Birchbox! We're already going in the right direction with the design of the box. It is adorable! I think I actually have posts from how BB uses to come packaged, plain brown box with a pink logo, so these boxes are definitely an improvement. I like to collect them, well the cute ones anyways. This will definitely get put to some good use. As for the physical contents of the box I was excited upon seeing what I got when the spoilers came up. I mean 2 makeup items! That is a rarity, especially for me when I have gone without getting any makeup in my boxes. Mine tend to be very fragrance and hair care heavy.  I'm not complaining though, I'm happy with what I get. I'm thoroughly impressed by how far they have come as a brand. Yay Birchbox! If you're just not familiar with Birchbox, click here . For those of you who do know about Birchbox, I had high hopes for this box. It isn't a straight up bad box, but it could've been much better. From the picture it just looks very bare, but then again my samples are more than generous in size. Hell 1 is even full size! Really I shouldn't be complaining. Eyeko Fat Liquid Liner/Full Size $16 "This eyeliner delivers the same smudgeproof, rich color in a thicker, bolder line than the original skinny liner" This was my sample choice and I was so excited for it! I'm awful at liquid Liner, and this product is supposed to make it simple. I have the perfect shadow to try this with, so I'm excited to use this. Update : While it was easy to use, I was not into the thickness of the line. I'm more of a tightline type of gal, so while I wasn't in love with the final look.
