Desperately Seeking Bookworm

Here it is, the final subscription box review of 2016, in 2017. It's gonna take me awhile to get back into the swing of writing and reading again. I'm really working on it because one of my goals for the year is to focus on this blog. I'm working on redesigning everything and really getting my act together. Like I said I have big things planned for us this year. For now though let's relive the month of December in the form of my all time favorite subscription box, Sephora Play! Lancome Hypnose Drama Instant Full Body Volume Mascara (Full-size $27.50): Does anyone really like this mascara? I've always been kind of eh on Lancome mascaras in general. I'm jealous that the other box variation got the Bobbi Brown Smokey mascara because I've heard it's a wonder in a tube.This has an S shaped wand and I never thought it did a good job at defining my lashes. I know it's been so long! I've been busy and rather uninspired. Now I'm just super backed up on posts. I mean I have stuff from March that I haven't even reviewed yet. I know I've been a bad girl. Until I'm ready to tackle all of the backlog, let's start with something simple. My May 2016 Birchbox!!! Again super lazy, don't want to waste a lot of time here, so let's do this! Amika Perk Up Dry Shampoo (FS $24) : I've actually tried this dry shampoo before. I believe that it was a free mystery sample once upon a time. It's a good dry shampoo, not my favorite for the price. It works fine and doesn't leave that dry feeling like Klorane can do. Just for reference that's another higher end dry shampoo which is really good. And was also introduced to me through Birchbox.
